IAM is a group of Moms and Dads from Bainbridge Island, Washington, coming together to focus on hope, inspiration, perseverance, and support towards progress and recovery of our children with Autism. Our group was formed in October 2007. We meet once a month to talk, listen, learn, laugh and nurture hope.

2 Day Social Thinking Training with Michelle Garcia Winner
Come participate in a two-day Social Thinking workshop with Michelle Garcia Winner,
an internationally recognized author and speaker. Together we will create a community
partnership using the skills this workshop offers. Lunch is included in ticket price.
Professional clock hours will be available for those who need them.This Social Thinking
workshop is intended for teachers, staff, and administrators of schools, as well as
community members and parents. The goal of the workshop will be to raise awareness
about the critical role Social Thinking plays in every student’s life, not only for academic
success, but also for growth into adulthood.

The cost of the workshop is $25 for BISD staff and $80 for Community Members and
includes 2 days of training, 2 lunches, and Social Thinking materials.
